Arsenal are still interested in Lazio attacking midfielder Joaquin Correa, along with three other Premier League teams, according to IlMessaggero.
The Italian publication reports that despite Paris Saint-Germain dropping out of the race for the Argentinian international, “something is moving” in regards to potential approaches from English clubs.
In addition to the Gunners, Tottenham, Leicester and Wolves are all believed to be interested in Correa, but Lazio’s €45m (£38.5m) is proving to be problematic.
With the Serie A side reportedly desperate to free up funds for their own purchases, it is expected that they could do a deal for as little as €35m (£28m), while loan proposals will also be considered.
Il Messaggero claim that if a club offers to pay a €15m (£13m) loan fee, with an obligation to buy for €20m (£17m) next summer, Lazio would probably accept the bid.
With that in mind, Correa would certainly be a lot cheaper than Leicester’s James Maddison, with it being said that Arsenal would have to pay around £60m to £70m for the England international.
