Arsenal, Juventus and Bayern Munich are all interested in signing Barcelona right-back Sergino Dest, according to reports in the Catalan media.
Barca’s precarious financial situation means they are prepared to sell the USA international just a year after signing him for €21m from Ajax.
With the Gunners possibly needing a replacement for Hector Bellerin, Dest seems like an ideal solution but fans on Twitter are very much split over whether a deal is realistic:
World class RB.. would love for us to sign him!

Would be an incredible signing… Swap him for Bellerin plus cash…? I mean, it probably won’t happen, but he’d be a class acquisition! ?

He said he’s not going anywhere

Barcelona is currently having Emerson, Dest, Roberto, Wague who can play the role of RB so they are likely to sell atleast two. Likely that Dest would be one of the name for which they would listen offers. Suitable option.

It does seem as though Dest is reluctant to leave the Camp Nou, so even if he was put up for sale by Barcelona, there is no guarantee that he would agree to a move to the Emirates.
With manager Mikel Arteta needing players to be 100% committed to the cause, it doesn’t seem like the 20-year-old would be a good fit for Arsenal.
The London club are said to be considering other options, with reports in recent days suggesting that they are lining up an approach for Norwich’s Max Aarons.
