Inter Milan have made an enquiry for Chelsea forward Timo Werner, according to Sport1‘s chief reporter Florian Plettenberg.
The usually reliable journalist claims that, despite the interest from the Serie A champions, the 25-year-old is keen on staying and playing alongside new signing Romelu Lukaku:
News @TimoWerner: He definitely wants to stay at #CFC this season. He even sees the move from #Lukaku as an opportunity, because it means he could switch to his favorite position behind him. @Inter has inquired about him but no chance. @SPORT1 ?

Although the majority of Chelsea supporters on Twitter want Werner to stay, there are some who think the Blues should cash in on the German international this summer:
Lol… They must be dreaming ?

If he has an underwhelming 21-22 season, he’s not untouchable. The man’s 25.

Considering his work rate, pace and the ability to get in behind defences, Werner offers a lot of positives which suggest manager Thomas Tuchel would want to retain his services.
There is also the worry that, if you sell now, the club may live to regret it if he goes on to start firing in the goals for Inter. With Tammy Abraham expected to leave for Roma, there is plenty of space in the squad to keep Werner around anyway.
