Leeds United have beaten the likes of Rangers and Wolves to the signature of Feyenoord winger Crysencio Summerville, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

The teenager was linked with a move to Ibrox back in July, but it’s now likely that the Dutch Under 19 international’s move to Elland Road will end the English club’s interest in signing Ryan Kent.

Summerville does generally play off the right-wing, unlike Kent, but with Leeds also having signed Helder Costa from Wolves, as well as bringing back Jack Harrison on loan from Manchester City, they are well stocked in wide areas.

That will come as a tremendous relief to manager Steven Gerrard with the Gers having already rejected a £10m offer for Kent from Marcelo Bielsa’s side earlier in the summer.

Kent has been in excellent form at the start of the season, having scored three goals and provided two assists in six appearances for the Light Blues.
