Mikel Arteta reveals that £27m signing Leandro Trossard IS available to make his debut against Manchester United

Mikel Arteta has confirmed that new £27million signing Leandro Trossard will be available to make his debut against Manchester United on Sunday.

Arsenal can go 11 points clear of United with a victory which would leave Erik ten Hag’s side with a mountain to climb to catch them.

Arteta said that he believes all the relevant paperwork has been done in time to ensure that Trossard can feature.

The Danish international impressed during a loan spell with Fulham last season and he is expected to be sold for a relatively modest sum this summer.

Andersen may have put in some good performances at Craven Cottage but it seems Gunners fans on Twitter are not particularly happy that the London club are being linked with the 25-year-old

Arsenal are looking to replace David Luiz, with the Brazilian leaving the Emirates on a free transfer at the end of the month. Sevilla’s Jules Kounde is said to be high on the club’s list of targets but his asking price, and the fact that he is looking to play in the Champions League, mean he is unlikely to be interested in the move.

Andersen would, on the other hand, be open to the switch but there are question marks over whether he’d be an upgrade on the Gunners’ four current centre-halves: Rob Holding, William Saliba, Gabriel and Pablo Mari.
